Cargo Container

Been waiting a month for this to be delivered. There is a 12 x 50 deck to the right along the house, will level the container to the deck then extend the deck out to it so we can have really easy access to the storage. Been a long day this far along with having someone over to mill wood for a few ho...

Re: Registration Closed again

I was just telling a guy the other day that had done some welding work for me that my Wife has never really even balked at tool purchases, even when they were very expensive tools because she has always been able to realize the benefits that come from them. My next tool is probably going to be a Mud...

Re: Skillets to cook in

What I have noticed on flavor and overall appeal with these Midget White Turkey and I suspect other breeds has to do with maturity. I harvested the extra Toms gradually last year at 16, 20 and 28 weeks, My experience was that not until the 6 month + mark were they beginning to lay on the fat. At 7 m...

Re: Registration Closed again

Sure, honestly anyone who has been around that long is certainly trustworthy. I havent had time to dig around in this much yet. Re: Registration Closed again

I changed the registration question but have not yet turned it back on. I am going to look at other verification plugins and see if it might make sense to add some sort of "pick the pictures with boats" sort of verification. Need to do some reading to see what others are doing to eliminate...

Re: Registration Closed again

Full sized heritage Turkeys can end up 35lbs. We just dont need that sort of bird. Midget Whites run around 10-12lb for Hens and 15-17lbs for Toms which is a good size utilizing even outside of holiday meals. These are just a bit bigger than the xCross Meat Chickens (well maybe double for the Toms)....

Re: Skillets to cook in

I have a steel Comal, they are made in both concave and convex. Both have handy points about them. I also have a huge steel wok. All of these when kept in use build and maintain a great nonstick finish. The carbon from the burned oils is the magic I believe. Point is I suppose doesnt matter, stainle...
