Can you expalin the burner mount, it seems like you have added about 8 inch of pipe out of the furnace, where is the 1:12 flare? where is the combustion at??? I'm sure nobody missed me too. Since accomplishing the technical side of metal casting for myself I lost a little interest.

Foam cutter - any ideas?
Hi, I need to build a little foam cutter similar to a circular saw. The cut width should be adjustable. Does anybody have examples or links for that?

EDIT*** Just realized that was Sn not Si in the bell metal. I suppose the Sn will still present problems of burning off at pouring temperature.
