Next week for chicks to arrive. Got the coop they will spend thier first month in cleaned out and fresh wood chips down. A short haul today but we have some weeks to go to collect a full set. Potted these up into 3" deep cell flats to let them grow out a little before going into the ground.

This is a pretty nice stout. I really like Old Rasputin too.
One of the best brews I have made was a chocolate stout. I used a lot of lactose and it was super creamy.
Norhing you would want ten of but a great change from the IPAs and rice beers.

This was a piece of scrap I ran through the surface planer and rubbed some Tung Oil onto. No sanding. just plane and oil. The Blue Stain and Red Stain I am familiar with, they are caused by a fungus that the beetles carry. I am not so sure about the yellow which was much more striking IRL. Its going...

This meal came together well, the wife made spent grain rolls and I collected some garlic chives from the property. Convict of course is our beef, so named because each is inmate #1, #2 ect...
