Petro Bond Mix 7 of 9

From molding systems to gating, what goes on at the molding bench will make or break a casting.

I kind of thought that if some old rich lady likes your stuff, you're in. ;)

I added the catalyst and can't tell much difference yet. I've been going out in the smoke and stirring the batch a couple times a day.
We are getting blasted by smoke from Canadian wildfires. My eyes are burning and my wife is having some real breathing problems. I hope it clears soon and we get some rain.

We have some rain, the air has cleared up, but we may get some more smoke this week. The sand looks great and a little heat definitely made a big difference. I have a couple small patterns to try out. I just want to see what kind of surface finish I get. I need to do my Nieces grave plaque again to try to get it to look a little better.

Went to the doctors yesterday and got some shots in my knees. I have to take it easy for a couple days and see how it feels. Maybe I'll be able to run a Marathon.... NOT, I have not ran in 20 years. That's a lie, I never ran, I just jogged awkwardly for short distances. Just hope I can stand for more than 5 minutes.

I bought a bicycle.

It's funny. I can't walk very far any more but I can ride this for miles. Go figure.

Nice looking bike. How many speeds does it have?

Twenty-one speeds. I only use three. I can't imagine why anyone would want twenty-one speeds. Kind of like having money. After you have enough to live your life, why would you want to make any more?

Too much money is so you can share it with someone else.

I had a 5 speed and only used 3, 1st, 3rd, and 5th.

The problem I have seen with giving people money is that rather than empowering people, it seems to corrupt them. There are exceptions of course.

It's a fine line. Just help them through a rough spot, not take them to raise.

The one time with Iron I wouldnt put much into. You might pick some of the crispy bits out but it wont burn far into the sand so most of it will certainly be reusable.
