From molding systems to gating, what goes on at the molding bench will make or break a casting.

That looks like a sweet ride Richard. I should get a bike, Plenty of dirt roads to tool around on out here. Wife doesnt care for them so we just never really looked that direction. We did get kayaks a couple years ago and its been fun taking them out.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints the sinners are much more fun...

I plan on using it for Bronze and Iron. I was just going to pick out the burnt sand and mix the rest back in. I heard of some putting it all back in and adding just a little oil. I'll probably keep all the bits until I get a good amount and then try to reconstitute it. 8-) :ugeek:

I got a bike at a yard sale and fixed it up and rode it a few times. I guess my knees can't handle it and I sure don't need to wreck it. I sold it.

I got out the Petro bond today to see how it's holding up. It was much better than it was last year. Not sure if just setting around let the oil soak in better or what. I mixed it up some and added just a small amount of oil. It was still a little dry, I mulled it around some and will try to do some casting soon. A few small bronze and an Iron casting I've been working on. Hopefully pictures coming soon.

I don't know about you but, I don't need any help to procrastinate, I can put stuff off for years. We'll see how it goes. My computer crashed... well, I went to close it and the top broke off, costs more to fix it than it's worth. I got out the dinosaur and take a nap while it opens.

Well, my plans got put on hold again. It got a little too hot to go out and cast anything and now my wife has had her hip replaced and is a slow recovery. I'm the housemaid, cook and general gofer. Going to have some storms today.

that sucks man, and I hope your wife's recovery goes well and quickly. Yea, it's been beyond hot and humid here, but we've been up doing roofing on a few buildings here, have just one more to replace the shingles on, then a little touch up here and there and it should be done. I did get those patterns done up for my plane and fences, so Ive been itching to get out and cast those also, but havnt had time due to everything else going on, lol.

I hope you guys are staying cool and also everyone on here doing well.
