New Ingot Mold

I brought home some welding samples from kids in metal shop. Many of them were flat on one side, so I figured I could do something with them.

The result was an ingot mold. I currently use a cast iron cornbread tray that makes corn on the cob shaped ingots. My crucible fills it perfectly, but since I'm making a bigger pot, I'll soon need more room.

Its deceivingly large in the photo. The real dimensions are about 5x2.5"

Looks good Bill, the steel appears nice and thick which will keep it from warping and I see you put a nice angle on the ends which will help in dumping it.
