Hello from the new guy

Hey all, just registered. I have been a hobby caster now for about 2 years give or take. I have a small bore furnace - about 11 inches across. I melt in a refractory crucible I made in a concrete mold. I use k-bond style oil sand, but have recently began to consider moving to real petrobond sand. Gotta find a slica sand provider near me.

Right now Im working on casting a few different patterns I whipped up - a cast aluminum flask, a MAF adapter for my car, some belt buckles, etc. Im always thinking about whats next...
