been casting and pattern making since about 1972. Building a new furnace as presented in Home Shop Machinist about 1989. Making parts for a 1.6 scale 3 Ton Climax locomotive. I live in Central Oklahoma

Just kidding, dont recognize the name though so it was a little bit of a surprise since we havent hung the sign out front yet. All are welcome though.
Sounds like you have some great experience and the loco project would be killer to watch come together.

We'd love to see your ideas for your new foundry/furnace too! There is a lot of experience here, but it looks like you bring your share of that!

Welcome. Ther are a lot of us that know each other from anothe rforum, but its really great to see new people, especially those with casting experience. Its always great to get new advice and perspectives. Looking forward to seeing your posts!
