Tech Books Free for Mailing costs

Post by Jammer »

Here's a list of books I have and no longer need or want. Anyone is welcome to them for the cost of mailing. I may have more, I'm still going through the boxes.

Modern Electro-plating, Van Horne, 1897
Machine Tool Technology, Repp/ McCatrthy, 1979
Machine Tool Operation, Drilling-planing-grinding, Part 2 only, Burghardt, 1937
Practical Shop Mathematics, vol 1, Wolfe/Phelps, 1958
Machine Shop Operations and Set-up, Student Guide, paperback, 1973
Motor Troubles and Their Correction, Fuller, 1944
Shop Theory, Anderson/Tatro, 5th Edition, 1968
How to run a Lathe handbook, South-Bend, 1937
Drafting Made Simple, Segel, Student Handbook, 1962
Graphic Science and Design, French/Vierck/Foster, 4th Edition, 1984
Technical Drawing, Seventh Edition, 1980

Well Mike, I'm not finding anything good. US Post wants $59 US and UPS wants $109. ?? That doesn't seem right to me, I'm going to the post office and ask them. Anyone know any cheap way to send books down under?
You may be able to find these books online for free. I know, I hate trying to read books online. I don't know how anyone does it.

I prefer reading the hard copy Also, if the books were online it would only mean I'd be copying them, so if you cannot find anything cheaper then the 59 USD I'm prepared to pay that plus any other cost, I would have brought the books plus the postage if required . Do you enjoy a beer jammer? I can add the cost of a carton of your favorite beverage for your troubles :D, Also could you add your local news paper plus a national or state news paper, it will add to the cost but I'm fine with that

Latz, that is the Priority price.
Mike, I've been known to tip a few too many Foster's a while back, but I don't drink anymore. I'll see what papers I can come up with. If more books will fit, are there others you would like? It's a flat rate up to 20#.
