thats a great looking pattern, and Im always impressed with your how tos. I am curious tho, why dont you just sprue into the back of the hub? Are you afraid the metal will wash out the sand in the front of he hub? I was just thinking that a single sprue down to the hub, with a vent at the end of each spoke would offer less cleanup - Whenever I think about pattern making, I get hung up on the cleanup as thats where my tooling is the holdup :/

Very nice HT, you are amassing quite a pattern collection just from what I have seen you posting. That will be a huge benefit to you as time passes and you can pull old patterns to do a job rather than starting from scratch.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints the sinners are much more fun...
