I am making a wax pattern for a new sculpture:
Beside the wax is the clay model, somewhat worse for wear after pulling off the polyurethane rubber molds.
I won't be casting her until October as I am leaving tomorrow to work in my studio in California for two months. It's hard right now to imagine that in a few days I will have the furnace running in my apartment up there. It gets down in the low 50's at night. Brrrrrrrrrrr!

New wax pattern
Pattern making is an art, either by machine or traditional it is the key to success in casting.
