nice tool box, I have one similar but much thinner drawers. The thicker drawers are always far more handy imo tho.

That's a nice toolbox. I don't have any tools good enough to live in there.

Dave,

Your old photographs in this thread have magically re-appeared with the new server.

someone needs to write a plugin for phpBB forum software that adds the ~original fix to the end of the picture names to restore all of the pictures that PB broke, just a one time run script that goes through all of the older posts and fixes it. That would be amazing for restoring those old threads that got nuked.

I bought this movement off of Ebay a couple weeeks ago, was really upset when I received it and found out that it was only about the size of a half dollar in diameter ( 38 mm), it was the type of movement that I have been trying to get my hands on and was in almost new condition which is unusual for something made about 1887.
Well i was pretty pissed about the whole thing and throwed it on the bench and said to hell with it.

its a key wind key set Gail Bordon Elgin movement, I hope Gail wasn't any kin to Lizzy.

Anyway I got to looking at it the other day and to my surprise the thing runs, matter of fact it been running for the last 24 hours with no problems.

Now I have to find a case for it, before I drop it again and really screw it up.
