If its not one thing its something else, ShopMonster zigged when he should of zagged chasing a damn cat of all things I could understand it if it had of been a French Poddle, but a damn cat. and broke his right rear knee, Now he's going to be in debt to me for around 750.00 to get the little turd patched up, plus I'm going to have to basically wait on him paw to fang for about 6 or seven weeks. Things we do for the pets we like.

Ok, I'm ready for cooler weather, was out doing some maintenance on the bee hives and I guess one of the hives is getting a little testy. anyway one of the little bitches stabbed me between the eyes about the hair line. So guess I'll wait till in the morning to finish what I started today.

Mine used to get testy when it was hot. Attacked and almost killed my dog, she came to see what I was doing, got stung and ran to me, almost knocked the hive over. It was great fun.

one thing with bees is that you will have those fun moments that you can always look back on an reflect on. trying to get them trained to eat from a bucket at the moment..

My grandfather kept bees all his life. His doctor told him one time he had so much bee venom in him that if he got bit by a rattlesnake it wouldn't hurt him any.

His honey was black. Had a good strong taste.

depends on the type of plant that the nectar was gathered from and the time of the year most of the time as to how the honey will look. I have some honey from last fall that is very dark in color. and taste different then honey that was gathered in the spring.
