I forgot about that, I've got some too. I think enough to make 100 pounds of sand, just have to decide what oil to use. I remember someone talked about using some super high temp compressor oil, but I think most use 2 cycle oil.

I use regular old used motor oil, and methanol as the catalyst.

and people say you can't cast iron in petro bond but I have without any scabbing problems.

I have to wait until I get the parts first before I can do a return.

hoping that one of the orders was packed in one box which will make it easier to return

I caught my goof-up early and cancelled one before they shipped. I've had more trouble this year than ever. I've had to file 3 complaints with e-bay and paypal just to get my money back from some bad sellers. All Chinese. Now they're posting as being in the USA but still comes from china. :x :x

received an email today sayiing that the order had been cancled and and the money had been refunded but that will take a 3 or 4 days to show up in paypal.

and I actually on Saturday fired up a furnace that a friend of mine was putting together, nothing compares to the smell of hot refractory and a furnace on a heavy dose of propane

I wanted to fire up the furnace yesterday, but I don't have anything ready to cast. I thought about making some Everdur. I have all the stuff but I'll have to find my scales. Then I was going to forge some hooks but didn't have the steel I need to make them.
