Cemetery Marker

Post by mite5255 »

I Was asked if I could make a cemetery marker so I I contacted Foundry Joe bout one of his polymer patterns and it worked a treat, if anyone needs a pattern made I can recommend them, they are very easy to get along and they go out of their way to accommodate you.Plaque was done in silicon bronze
Thank you Joe & Anna

That came out great Mike. I'm going to do a couple for my brother's, probably on the CNC if it will work. Surprised how deep the relief is on this, any photopolymer I've seen is way less than a millimeter deep.

Hey Mike; I'll be 77 in about 5 years. Maybe you can do one for my grave when the time comes. Beautiful job.

Hi Richard....I would do that for you mate, but I do hope your not going to fall off your perch any time soon as I'd like my skills to get a bet better first :), I can see the faults that the camera doesn't show ;)

Beautiful Mike, that will last an eternity. Just think in 100 years folks will take rubbings off that plaque while out doing their genealogy research ;) What was the cost on the pattern?

Hi Harry
Foundry Joe and his wife Anna charged me $70 plus postage, they can do 10.5 x 8.5 inch Approximately for $70CD, but if you want to fit more patterns into that size it still cost $70
Below is the latest pattern, and below that is the original photo that the pattern was made from. The pattern is about 10 1/4 x 7 1/4
