I poured the Queen's real crown today. Came out great:

That detail in the feathers took many hours in the wax. That's why I poured a test crown back a month ago. I did not want to do that wax work over.

Wow Richard, the extra detail makes all the difference. I bet it did take some time.

Thank you sir. Don't bow too low though. Every time I begin to think I know something the foundry gods laugh in my face and I get a casting like this:

I thought that they put that in the castings so you could practice your chasing skills :D :D :D

I still like her better without the stuff on top.
