engraving

Post by HT1 »

I'm making Plaques mostly, and everyone wants them custom engraved, right now I do the engraving at work on a high end computer engraver, which I cannot afford. I retire shortly, and will not have access to an engraver. does anyone have a recommendation on a moderately priced computer engraver

you could build yourself one of Harry's CNC Routers, in say a 2' x 2' size.

There's lots of info out there on CNC machines. Harry's looks to be a good package. The Mach 3 website is a good place, also CNC Zone is huge. You can build one very simple or very elaborate, Check out Tweakie'ssite. He does it all. And, is more than willing to help others to build the best machine possible.
