still around not casting due top the whole state being under a burn ban so no open flames may have to check into that thou, but the last cast I did was a cast iron one and the heat between the crucible and the sun was a little warm to say the least.

But I check in everyday sometimes two or three times, guess thats what forced retirement does to you.

Still working on the CNC project but having to wait on money to buy electronics with but have most of the motor mounts and such made.

Sorry fellas, my life took a wild turn recently. Compounded daily with drama from others, family suddenly being in need, crisis after crisis after crisis... Geeze it never seemed to end. And no sooner do I get head back above water mother nature ups the antee and hits us with 100 mph winds and torential 8" to 10" of rain every day, ALL DAY, for five days straight. We've got flooding all around us and getting precariously close to where our house is. I think we'll be spared where we are but even though weather's been just windy today and partial sunny, more rain and winds are due all this next week. There's at least 1000 homes under water in this immediate area and they have evacuated two entire small towns within miles of here. Take notice, though..... Alaskan's don't cry out to FEMA for flood relief. We've had some serious nature rage up here in decades past and the entire US below Canada never knew about it. But, you get a creek overflow and put 10 inches of water over a roadway down south and it's newsworthy and spread all over the planet, with congressmen, senators and presidents all using it for bolstering their own glory in showing their compassion an support to their constituants. HAHAHA....

For now, yeah... I'm here, well... sorta. On the mend from an extensive surgery to my shoulder. My plans to get my foundry set back up a few months ago went into the toilet. It's back on, though, for October or December depending if I can get someone to retrieve my semi van from storage (as a favor) and deliver it here and help unload it in exchange for giving them title to the trailer. I'm going to solicite a local small business moving company in the area this next week. We'll see....
