Dallen...You OK in OK? Prayers for Oklahoma
Re: Dallen...You OK in OK? Prayers for Oklahoma
Hmmm, I took the boat out on the Tenn River and drove the car to South Carolina.

would of been a hell of a lot more fun to of taken the boat down the river to South Carolina, but I guess it probably doesn't go there.
Yea I know what you mean about getting light headed and such, happens to me a lot if I been sitting for a while which I do quite often since I been what you call grounded from having a job.
Anyway I'm still working on the mini mill trying to make it into a CNC have all the axis moving but still have some bugs to work out. Am hoping to order some ball screw parts come payday which isn't for a couple more weeks, then I plan to deal with the backlash issues that I have in the Y Axis, but I did cut a particle board pattern to use to cast a new thicker table end plate so I can mount the stepper directly onto the end of the table instead of having it hang out in the air on some standoffs.
heres a shot of the last part that I cast which was also the first part that I have used a core in, and I know I did it all wrong but it was a one off job for and idler wheel for a hopefully 2" X 42" belt sander if I get back to it. sorry don't have one of it coming out of the sand heres one of it on the mill having where I cut the recesses for the bearings into it. and the required picture of the shop monster DA

Mike, take care of yourself after you get them shoulders worked on, don't do like me and jump back in the pond as soon as you think your able, all you will do is end up making things worse.
Anyway here is a picture of the last watch that I found on EBay, it looks a little better after I cleaned the dial and took a decent photo of it. And to make it and even sweeter deal it runs. now to find a minute hand to replace the one thats missing.
