Awesome bit of historical documentation. Totally amazing the steadfast nerves those men possessed to manipulate such intense heated metals and not loose grasp on their holds even when the molten sparks and bits are flying about during a pour. WOW!!! What pussies we've become over the decades since. HAHAHA..... but at least we are alive and not missing members of our bodies due to severe burns and/or lung problems from work'n in such harsh environments. What a wonderful video, Mike... thanks!!

They had nerves of steel because they had to. In 1935, only a few years after the Depression they were happy to have a job. Long before OSHA and lawyers....

Cool video.
