I offer advice and posts when I can, mainly in response to someone with a "real" question. Reality is, no perfect furnace or burner is going to help a damn soul who hasn't first learned how to make or recognize a good sand mix, pack a mold and really understand how it needs to be filled, how to recognize melt temperature based on "visual" aids, then how to "READ" metal that's been cast to discern what caused the defects and how to remedy the condition with the next cast attempt. Those who chase the holy grail on burner and furnace design are stalling themselves on purpose and limiting their ability to produce. Anyone who makes a product often enough will magically figure out ways to minimize the effort and expense. That's called putting the horse "BEFORE" the cart where it belongs and not vise/versa.

I like this site, too. No pretentious folks here. If GOD is willing and nothing else messes with my life here in the next month or two I fully intend to FINALLY bring my foundry out of storage and get it set up in the shop I sacraficed since 2008 to build. I've got a lot on my mind to apply it to that I've invisioned over the years and designed after hours with great anticipation getting them packed into sand and cast. I'll share more when I'm able to actually DO SOMETHING rather than just sit on the sidelines play'n armchair quarterback for y'all.

Cheers. I'll be here till the lights go out.
