We still have a google bot that is a user of the forum I thought that they were not able to log on any longer?

I have not excluded bots from the forum. I have thought about adding a semi private area to the forum that would only be accessible to members logged in, someplace where more personal stuff could be posted like photos and the like. Not sure if bots can be excluded from just a section of the forum though. I do know how to make them stay out of a folder or directory though using a robots.txt file.
