Found Dreaming

Well, its been a while now. I've got the beast in its place. Things went just as planned for once. Here's a couple of shots of the big day...

cost a hell of a lot more to move it then you paid for it. the cribbing cost a couple hundred, what I would give to get to play with one that size.

Actually, I only had $100 in 4x4's and lag screws. Yep, crane was twice what I paid for the lathe, but well worth it. You are welcome to head on up, just bring your own material. I'll supply the beer.

So far, I've got $1000 into it as I picked up a big tool post and cutters for it. I figure about another $500 for a phase converter and I'll be up & running...

coffee I don't drink beer, be hard to carry enough material to do anything with on that lathe on my bike. sure be fun to work with it for a couple days thou.
