Our vacation

Post by mite5255 »

Trip was great, we stayed at the inlaws for two nights, then head off to Scotts Heads for two nights. We then went to timber town at Wauchope http://www.timbertown.com.au/. It then was a 820klm (509 ml ) drive home..... I have photos and a few videos and will post as they get processed via youtube and photobucket

Timber Town at Wauchope

Blacksmiths shop

While I was in the blacksmiths shop I forgot to turn off my phone and accidentally recorded the conversation that I had with the smithy

would like to see the place up front but sadly that probably won't happen in my time. thanks for posting the photo's Mike.

used to live behind a sawmill when I was a little tyke, they could handle up to about a 7 foot log any bigger then that they had to split em before they could get them on the saw deck to load onto the carriage.

On the drive home we stopped for lunch at a small town called Walca, parked out the front of the cafe was this BMW, it has California plates on the back, maybe he took a wrong turn somewhere

Nice pictures and videos. We have some of those towns in Ohio, I haven't seen any since we moved to Tennessee. There is probably some around here somewhere. I really love the Oxen team.
