We had just a bit of a shake here. It was up a good ways north of here. It shook Mexico City pretty good. Much of Mexico City is built on a filled-in lake (mud). And to make it worse, as happens most everywhere, builders like to add extra sand to their concrete mix when no one is looking.I believe your south of the earthquake,

Re-bar and cement cost money. Sand is almost free.

Pretty close. We are on good solid ground here. I would rather have earthquakes than those hurricanes with all that rain.
