I believe your south of the earthquake,
We had just a bit of a shake here. It was up a good ways north of here. It shook Mexico City pretty good. Much of Mexico City is built on a filled-in lake (mud). And to make it worse, as happens most everywhere, builders like to add extra sand to their concrete mix when no one is looking.

Re-bar and cement cost money. Sand is almost free.

Pretty close. We are on good solid ground here. I would rather have earthquakes than those hurricanes with all that rain.
