Steam Show

Post by Jammer »

A friend of mine and I went down to Meridian Miss. for a steam show last Saturday. We had a good time and saw a lot of different things. Steam engines, a huge machine shop, Metalcasting, Blacksmithing, and Letterpress printing. They had a huge steam boiler that powered most of the steam engines. I met up with few guys from AA like PatJ, Cae2100, and Porositymaster. Pat had several miniature steam engines that he and his dad had built. I liked the sign on his table that said "Please Touch". Cae2100 was taking pictures and videos and Porositymaster had his furnace going and did a couple Iron Castings. My friend Jeff said he's never seen anything like that before. Not sure how interested he was, he rode along with me because he couldn't get tickets to the Alabama Game. :)
