My right hand is screwed

Had the three wires removed for the back of my hand yesterday, I'm now doing finger stretching exercises every two hours and they have told me not try and force my fingers, for now light pressure, the occupational therapist told me yesterday he has never seen a thumb as bad as mine and still have some movement. they also said my fingers should mend ok but will never have movement like I had before, the thumb will be the problem, I told them if I
can reach my index finger with my thumb I'll be happy, I can then write and can also work on trying to get better movement over time...Hopefully the thumb wires will go next visit in two weeks

Blue nurses were in today to change my dressing, hand is looking good, it does have a odd bend at the wrist tho which is something I'll have to get use to

Well compared to the first pictures, that looks pretty good. Is the thumb knitting back together?
