I'm able to touch my index finger with my thumb, but have probs trying to bend at the joints, there is still wire through the thumb an I'm hoping when removed I'll get more movement

Yea, it looks like it is healing up quite well now by the appearances.

I still have the wire through the thumb holding it all together and it's also still in traction plus I still have the splint on my arm holding the thumb traction in place... back to the Doctors tomorrow, more xrays, I'v had so many I'm starting to glow in the dark, hopefully they'll remove the wire tomorrow but I don't think they will be

one of my old beer drinking buddies had to wear a halo rig on his left leg for damn near a year, had to carry a spanner around in his pocket to tighten the damn thing up so that his leg wouldn't heal up shorter then the right one.

hope it won't be too much longer until they take the wire out of your hand.
