Welllll, I needed a new hobby, so I went and brought a wood lathe, I've also joined a woodcrafters club that also teaches wood turning https://www.caboolturewoodcrafters.com/ thus far I've had three lessons and I'm really enjoying myself, just a few photos of what I have done over the last few weeks, there are a few nicks and scratches on all items, but I should get much better with more practice. the rolling pin is on my lathe at home

Awesome Mate! I've mostly just turned drums on my lathes... The big one is still waiting for me to build a rotary phase converter. Have the motor, just need to build the box...

Unfortunately it was poor timing. He go divorced shortly after that and I just stayed out of the mess.

What other lathes do you have Latz? I just remember the huge one.

I have a Delta MIDI lathe that I had the maintenance guy at work make a spacer to give me 16" swing and another that has a 12" swing. I bought the 2 smaller ones from my wife's step mom when her dad died...
