Well I guess that was supposed to be "friend" not fried. I built some bookcases this fall but it turned cold before I could get the stain and Polyurethane on them.

A bit more wood work for the metal casting forum ;) ;) ;) ;) A red gum savory cookie and dip tray, a pair of red gum salt and pepper shakers and a camphor laurel cutting board

Nice! I bought a wood lathe a couple months ago and a metal lathe last week. They were cheap and need some work so more projects. They are both small, I just don't have room for much here. My saws and grinder...even the forge is on wheels so I can roll them out and use them, then roll them back in. Wife gets mad cause I get sawdust all over the car, but it blows off. :roll: 8-)

looks good mite, what finish did you use on the dip tray? It looks like it was coated in a thick wax almost.

Thanks everyone, @cae2100 I use a home made mix of bees wax and grape seed oil, @ Jerry Wife get mad because I walk saw dust inside, even tho I always wipe my feet
