Rain everyday. Couple of storms, just trying to keep my basement dry.

rain here everyday also, and you actually have a chance at keeping the basement dry? I was half tempted to throw some rubber duckies in ours since it's just one big pool, lol. Just been working on getting my sand muller up and running.

I remember when I was a kid back in the early 1950's riding in the car with my father by new subdivisions being built, and him shaking his head and saying, "They're building those houses on low ground." The developers didn't care. They knew they could sell them.

Our rainy season has just begun. It runs from sometime in June until the end of September. We can have sometimes as much as six inches of rain in an hour.

doing OK, fighting with the bee's trying to make them provide me with some honey damn things are like my dog, none of them will listen to me either

as usual the weather sucks and its getting hot enough to make Rasper feel like he would be home

In other news, first grandson was born over the weekend. Second grandkid with another to come in 7 days...

To top it all off, they named him after yours truly...

Dave, if have several books on Beekeeping and I've come to realize that the bees have never read the books. They do what they want, whenever. Everything has to be right, weather, a large amount of nectar available and a good strong hive.
