I went fishing on Thanksgiving. Caught 17 good sized Walleyes in Lake Erie and brought home 2 big bags of filets.

We will have our dinner in a couple of weeks with our kids.

Everyone here took off for myrtle beach for the week, so Ive just been here working on stuff Ive been wanting to do, or not to do because noone is here to bug me about it, lol.

I thought Lake Erie was so polluted that all the fish died.

not that I know of, I know people that go up there and go fishing every few weeks.

That was in the 60's and early 70's. We camped up there until they closed everything down. You couldn't eat the fish. The Cuyahoga River caught fire in 1969. The lake has made a huge comeback since then. Really beautiful area, we took our youngest son up and camped about 10 years ago. It is really pretty amazing how much it has recovered. Just stop dumping all the crap in the water, stop burning all the nasty stuff. Wood is OK, most coal is OK, just take out the Sulphur. Everything is so much cleaner now than it was when I was a kid. The climate changes all on its own, man has little or no effect on it.
