heck I can whittle on it, so your saying that if its too hard to melt it and add Vaseline to it to soften the wax.

This part really shouldn't be that hard to carve specially if I can make some strips about .250 thick that I can apply to a fake stock.

Looks like I may need to borrow the neighbors table saw tomorrow and butcher a 2X6.

I also have some homemade machinable wax that's pretty hard, it does carve pretty nice thou I carved a really bad pattern for a trigger guard out of some a couple years ago.

Is that a butt plate? This wax seems a little brittle to carve, Might be different now since it's warmed up. I bought some of the Compsimold for making a mold. I want to finish up my vacuum casting thing and try some small parts and artsy stuff, after all, Richard gets $100 for a brass snail.
Shoot, I can't even get things done that I have people waiting on them, They probably gave up on me by now.

I just love the work the work on the derby cover Frank. My son picked up his 2009 Fat Boy to day, its a damn nice bike ;)
