Makes me a think a testing subforum in the Square Peg might be a good idea for letting folks figure out how to use the forum but then all you need to do is 'Preview' to see what a post will look like.

In setting up permissions for the locked subforum here I noticed in the permissions I can set full for the studio owner. This would allow the owner to make announcement and stickies in their studio. They will also be able to lock their own threads so no need for the locked subforum.
Hmmm, one issue would be that the owner could lock the shadowed threads too, maybe that wont work. Maybe the locked subforum will have to stay to limit full access to that area.

FC, I have added full permissions for you in the Locked subforum. Please verify for me that you can post there, lock a thread there and also announce/sticky threads there. Also please check that you do not have those permissions in this or other forums. Thanks.
