Thanks Jammer. I’ll send added photos to Mike since I’ve been keeping him updated on this bear’s progress. If it’s a bother for him to post the pics I’ll send them to you.
Thanks for offering to pitch in and assist documenting this project!

Well, I run out of oil based clay. Ordered another case out of Amazon... due delivery November 3rd.
Just as well. My hands and fingers are aching for a rest!
Also need to order another couple gallons of silicone rubber molding material for when this bear’s done and ready for molding.

Enjoying the break away from this bear awhile! Fingers in both hands feel like there’s an electric charge running through each finger on both hands! Come morning they’ll feel like they’re so swollen and about to burst, it’s almost unbearable. Then after a while they feel near normal again, but like they’re mildly swolen... but they’re not swolen. Just seems weird!!

Maybe all that anger and primal spirit was flowing through my hands and fingers into that sculpture! If that was in me to begin with it damn sure needed to get out!! Maybe this bear was/is an exorcism of sorts?!?!!! LOL!

Just got done assessing this bear for making a piece mold off it and must say it’s a bit overwhelming. Still has to be done!! Can’t afford the $60k the foundries charge to do it on something this size.
So spent the past hour researching online for molding rubbers to brush on it. Poly-Tech is who I’ve ordered from in the past. 74-30 is the best mold material there is in my opinion. I still have molds I’ve made with it as far back as the late 80’s that are as good as new.
Just two more slabs of clay on this bear and the molding can begin. Then make waxes of each mold section to invest into plaster and burn out in the kiln. Then fill those plaster shells with metal. Then weld all the pieces together like finishing a 3-D puzzle!
