Bear Sculpting is DONE!
Still can’t figure out how to post pictures! Just got done writing a long winded narrative, tried posting pics, and neither the narrative nor photos appear! WTF?

opefully, this next sculpture will fare better than this recent one did. It’s my hope to do this next one life sized as well.

It looks really good, I cant wait to see it come together in aluminum, or even bronze.

Sculpture is done!! Now the process of determining how to mold it in multiple pieces. Then make wax copies of each piece to invest in plaster, burn out, and cast in metal. Then weld it all together.

No wonder foundries charge $60k on an average to mold, cast, weld & detail (plus patina) artists works!

These are a couple statues down in Zanesville Ohio. Franks Bear is much better. This guys does a lot of good stuff but the bear looks off to me.
