Bronze casting...

I did that for a project I had and never finished. With a drill it came out real nice and even. My brother showed me this years ago for making his silver jewelry. He just twisted silver wire and soldered it in place.

I don't know how pretty it would be but I could take a piece of 10 gauge solid copper wire and twist it with a drill to make a pretty nice border, but I bet thats not what you did, is it?.

That would not be casting, and if you used that technique for a pattern, you would have hours of work killing all the backdraft

I was trying to use it for investment casting. Pour a polyurethane mold and cast wax then do the melt out.
