I build drums. Here's a couple of pics of the 2 cocobola snares I built. One is 8" deep, the other is 6.5". Both are 14" diameter. Cast Bronze Hoops that were bought from a place in Duluth.

That's a beautiful Drum. Not ready to cast your own rings? They don't look easy to cast.

Very nice drums, and yea, the bronze really looks nice against the cocobolo. The only thing I'd be worried about is the bronze tarnishing over time, or do you have a way to prevent that?

Casting hoops, drumshell...

The hoops are clear lacquered, I did lacquer the brass lugs.
