What I've been up to...

So Harry doesn't feel so lonely....

Short back story, last year our neighbor came to us and offered their rental house to us so we could "control who was in our neighborhood." So, we bought it and I had been weekend warrior'ing the remodeling. A month ago, our oldest got a letter telling them they had to be out by March 13 as the place she was renting was sold. She knew this was a possibility and dragged her feet to put it kindly, most of which another boring read. Anyway, I suddenly had new motivation, even taking the week before the 13th off to ensure I finished the remodel... I'll spare the boring details, but here is the result of the kitchen....

Nice, great to be in a position to help the kids when they need it. I hope she appreciates your efforts.

I like the clean look of the white cabinets also, the linoleum replacement was a solid call.

Thanks! A few months last year was also spent gutting (down to the studs) and remodeling my son's bedroom.

What's not shown is the exhaust fan port, rewiring and stuff behind the paint. Happy with the way it turned out.

I think she does... or at least she better. We raised her better than that.. :D
