O-S 1/2 Scale Steam Engine Casting Attempt

I am attempting to cast a 1/2 scale O-S horizontal steam engine, like the one Dave Richards was using to power his old-school machine shop.
I have been measuring my full size O-S, and creating 3D models, and 3D printed patterns.
So far I have modeled the cylinder head and the base, and 3D printed patterns for the base.
Not castings yet.
I had an old roll of yellow PLA filament, and so used that, and the surface finish was very rough.
It must have been an odd roll that I purchased early on.
I reprinted the yellow parts with newer filament, and got back to a normal smooth surface finish (brown).
