its getting there, but it ain't easy on these old tired eye's of mine. Its the last thing that I need to finish the rifle with.

Still hoping that this Saturday doesn't get canceled like the last three or four have been and I can get the Heat Treat Coloring done on the Receiver and a couple other pieces that hang out in the open.

put this together today so that I would have something to hold the wood parts while I'm checkering them.

worked on this yesterday have it snapping shut with you pull the hammer open, now I need to make the sear, for those that don't know the sear is the part that holds the hammer in the fire position.

Spring almost looks like I knew what I was doing when I heat treated it.
