as a non woodworker I'm going to say its a real pain in the ass to whittle one out, but is worth all the effort that I've put into them.

Its actually not as hard as it looks. you start off with a hunk of wood and put the butt plate on one end, then put the action on the opposite end, then you just start cutting off everything that doesn't look like what you think it should look like. Hoping that you find it in the first piece of wood.

another thing that helps is good sharp rasp's, gouges, and chisel's which for some reason I've had to buy a wheelbarrow full of on this project.

been working on some of the sight parts, I sorta messed up the short one, need to cut the long ends off of the one in red

got in some time with the homemade router bit and the wood that I'm using for the forearm.
