Ok I already knew the day was going to be crappy because of having to spend 125 bucks for fluid and stuff to flush the tranny on the truck, then my sister who broke here right leg a couple weeks ago called with the grand news that her freezer had stopped working, so ok shes stove up and needs some help.

then the AC in my truck has been acting up, this is where the day took a nose dive, I mean like someone carring 20 pounds of lead with them kinda nose dive. The problem is pretty simple actually, the recirculation door, the one what lets you decide if you want to keep on breather the old stale air that's in the car or fresh new air from outside. Simple little plastic flap that's about 4 by 6, I've pretty much calmed down now that half of the dash is laying in the freaking front yard and sundry other places, but I got it out all except for one little bit of nylon that has expanding tabs on it and the Son of a $%%^&#$ is up inside the housing where you can't get at it.

I think I'm gonna go fix me a glass of ice tea and say f%^&kit I'm done for the day. Oh yea I really hope that I run into some of the engineers that designed these new pieces of shit that they call cars and trucks, actually I think when I turn into a ghost I'm gonna make it a mission in the afterlife to move in with em just to torment them a LOT.

I feel your pain Dave, years ago my wife banned me from working on motor vehicle, well banned from doing it in the front yard at least, you see I'm not very calm level headed type when I have my head in the internals of a vehicle and at the time she worked across the road in a childcare center, now it appears that every time things were going pear shape, she and everyone else in the center could hear me pleading with the gods of the home mechanic to get there f%^king act together and help me sort this piece of shit out ;) , she informed me she didn't want to hear the clink clink as spanners and such bounced across the road again and the language I was using was nowhere near appropriate ;) it appears, that at times I can have a very short fuse ;)

yea, the one highlight of the whole ordeal was when I ended up with my hand stuck in the damn heater duct with a sharp bit of plastic trying to rip the blood veins out of my wrist so I could bleed to death while kneeling on my knees looking like I was praying to the gods of mechanics pass.

I wouldn't of been all that bad of a job, except that I was outside in the blazing ass sun with no shade, and you know just how much fun it is to try to work under a dash on a vehicle, there's no way in hell that you can get at anything easily. Anyway it looks like the local parts house may be able to get me a new door, so that I can reverse and see if I can get all the bits and pieces back in place so that it will look like a truck again,

auto parts store was wanting close to 60.00 bucks for a new door, so I figured that some sheet metal screw would be a cheaper fix. So I got the old door shoved back up inside the heater box where it goes and put some in it to hold it in place.

now I just need to get ahold of my nephew who has access to the stuff to flush the system and recharge it with the right amount of Freon and I should be good to cool out with.

I hate working under the dash, everything in there is put in in such a way that you cannot work on it.....I enjoyed working on the old shovel that I use to own, sadly I sold it in 2011, but every thing was easy to get at, all you had to do was remove the tank and seat and you had access to every thing

been working a little at a time on the 3D Printer, and as you would expect I'm getting little/small results in return. But I am getting results and besides all I have is time to mess with this thing.

to bring me up to speed and sort of a built log, last night I did some reworking of the limit switches so that they are now working like they should. I also changed some of the wiring around but that was mostly for cosmetic reasons then any thing else.

And I was able to actually get it to print something right or wrong it did print something, I still need to calibrate the table so that its level with the nozzle and get the nozzle height over the table for zero set correctly.

anyway here is a photo of the mess that I made last night, it is just a simple test ring about 4 inches in outside diameter, I have no idea why it started printing the straight bar on it. Anyway I'm hoping for better results today, but who knows anything is apt to happen around here.

been making some adjustments to the printer, found that I had the X axis running backwards and that some parts would end up printing backwards, but was able to straighten that out by moving a limit switch and hooking the motor cable up backwards.

been printing some small files that I found on the web, some are just stuff and others are parts that I'm wanting to use to upgrade the performance of the printer, and some are parts that I'm printing to see if the dimensions are correct.

the photo of the mess.
