Thanks everyone, each day I get just a small amount of movement back into my hand, but the reality is I will not get 100% back, the occupational therapist asked me when I was in hospital, what are my expectations on my hand, I said all i want is to be able hold a steering wheel and to be able to hold and use a hammer, and I think if i can hold and use a hammer I think I should be able to retrain my hand for most other little jobs that I use to do with ease hopefully. I really don't know if i could ever trust my hand with a crucible full of molten metal ever again tho

they told my little brother that he would not have full use of his hands after catching a couple 12 gauge slugs with them. guess they were wrong as he did get full use back.
might take you a while but tennis balls are actually a good form of therapy.

Pressure cooker is understandable. A dangerous piece of kitchen equipment. Bad Seals will tend to seal themselves as pressure goes up. Did you pressurize with the compressor or CO2 cylinder. That may have been too high for a cooker, 15 to 20 psi max.

good that they got the stiches out, just take it easy on using it don't want to pull it open.

you can always tell the grandkids that were stabbed by a pirate when they ask you about the scar.
