Forgot to answer your question, Dallen... I live in Palmer, back along side the Knik River (Jim Creek). I work in Anchorage, unfortunately. But, was stationed at Rich between 74 through 76. Did a lot of field exercises up in Greely practicing cold weather survival and severe weather war games. Just recently did work up at Ft. Greely this fall, hazmat stuff, assessing that old decommissioned Nuke Plant they have. Greely is changing a lot these days... a lot since you were there last.

I been thru there may a time. that old nuke plant was sitting there shut down when I was up there in the mid seventys. bet the old gen station that we used to get power from didn't set that long after they pulled the plug on it. government probable gave it to some indian town up there. man them old diesels would generate ice fog like all get out when it got down 30 40 below.
