New Laser Engraver

I've been playing with my new laser engraver I got for my birthday, a little early
These are Slate coasters with logos from old cast iron skillet makers. These were usually cast on the bottom of the skillets.

pretty cool, and details look pretty sharp. I didnt expect that it would work on stuff like slate, but evidently you can, lol.

It will be interesting to see how long they hold up. The Griswold one was way off center first, so I sanded it off and did it again. It was pretty hard to get off.
