did some work on the contact wheel that I casted the other day, forgot to measure how thick the bearings were so I ended up with the bore's being a little on the shallow side but it will work.

its back to working on the wood, put on the second hand rubbed coat of Tung Oil this morning, its also time to get back to sanding the metal parts so that they can be colored

did the heat treat on this the other day and got it all cleaned up, now I need to epoxy the handle scales on to the tang and do some sanding on them.

hoping that it will take an edge, anyway we'll see in a day or two.

been drizzling here all day, with chances of .75 inches possible. nothing like what your getting, but at times it does rain like a bitch here.

still in the process of trying to learn how to checker a gun stock, not having the greatest of times doing it either, damn lines will either drive you blind or to drink, not sure which.

I've already been driven to drink, so if it was me my guess is I would go blind will look great when you work it out Dave

I'm more then likely going to go blind from trying to learn how to do this, as I quit drinking in 2009, and not sorry that I did it either.
