sure you didn't get too hot looking at junk that people wanted new prices for, or something that started out at Harbor Freight for twice what they paid for it. Anyway that's the way it is here at the flea markets. Used to be you could buy other peoples junk for a bargin, now days a bargin is buying something new that's not made in china,
Sorry bout the storms, I already have the grass knocked down. We don't need any storms already have enough humidity in the air.
Take care of yourself hot weather, high humidity not anything to mess with. Me and the monster get our outside stuff done early then hunker down in front of the AC.
I did receive some screws and stuff in the mail today so its back to tinkering with the Rolling Block. Hopefully I'll have something worth taking a photo if in the next day or two.

Re: Cincinnati Shaper
opened up the mail box this morning to find a package hiding in it, inside the package was an original hammer and trigger (broken but fixable) for a Remington Rolling Block action. Nothing like having original part to work with.

Re: Cincinnati Shaper
been doing a little maintenance on the furnace burner, and found that the inner part of the nozzle had been damaged from the heat, probably the last time I used it and had to switch propane bottles in the middle of a melt.
Part that was damaged is this little jewel. You can see where the Orifice looks crooked. it also have a bulge in it which isn't letting the orifice seal in it. So I made a new one instead of ordering up a new Nozzle for the princely sum of about $27.00 Then just for grins and giggles I made me a new Orifice to go along with the nice new steel part that I had made. And yep it works did a test firing this morning just so I could wake up the neighbors.
Now back to work on the Rolling Block

Re: Cincinnati Shaper
You might be able to make those for some others. I imagine it was time consuming.
I just kept melting the O-ring. Hard to find those little ones. Did the blue one come with yours, I think those are high temp.

Re: Cincinnati Shaper
I don't really want to get into the parts manufacturing end of things. People what you to give them stuff instead of paying you for the amount of time it takes to make something. They can buy a new nozzle cheaper then I can make those two parts
The blue oring I got off of evil bay, I think I paid like 5 dollars for fifty of them, if you needs some send me you address and I'll drop some in an envelope to you.
