give me your snail mail address and I'll send you some O-rings, if your having trouble finding them.

I always pull the burner out the minute I shut the oil and gas off and leave the blower running so as to not torch the little rubber o-ring.

played with the furnace and some hot melted metal today, took some video but as it is with my luck Movie Make is screwing up so I can't get all the stupid stuff edited out so I can post it up on the net for everyone to laugh at.

Anyway I had some fun, burned some oil, and melted some metal so I could show a friend what its about.

If I can get the video edited I'll post it, but not making any promises

shop monster wasn't real happy about having to be out in the backyard with the temp up around the triple digit mark and the humidity about 50 percent, otherwise everyone had a metal melting good time.

cool today may go for a cast iron pour if it doesn't warm up tooo much, can't do too much until after church lets out, there is a small church just down the street from my house, so I try not to make a bunch of noise till after 12:00 then its hands off for as noise goes, which my burner can make a bunch of.

Shop Monsters pissed this morning, he got his scheduled bath and isn't one bit happy about it.

loaded up the crucible with about 12 pounds of broken up pieces and some old sprues, gates, and runner parts of cast iron and then unbeknownst to me I left the lid on the furnace cracked about a 1/4" open and proceeded to melt the pot full of bits and pieces into a water thin liquid that I could pour into a mold that I had rammed up Monday evening which had been sitting on the bench covered up with a hunk of pond liner.

right the proof that I did something besides feeding the shop monster, which by the way he says I don't feed him enough.

I have some video but need to edit it for content, so that it will be suitable for adults over the age of 45, so probably won't get it posted until tomorrow

Those came out great, do you have a picture of the pattern? Or, did you use the Aluminum one as a pattern?
